Independent schools can be tough to get into. Your child will be evaluated on their academic talents like never before and will have a tough time getting into top schools, if they are unable to showcase those talents. You know your child is smart but, when they walk into a standardized test, all that can change if they are not familiar with the structure of the questions and the timed format. The best thing that you can do for your child is help them be prepared and know what to expect. If a child knows what to expect when they walk into their private school exam, they are more likely to excel.
